Israel Tour Guide Daniel's 70Th Week

What is the Final Week of this age called? It is called "Daniel's 70th Week". The 70 weeks of years are made up of seventy, seven year periods. Hence, seventy times seven equals 490 years. "Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy." (Daniel 9:24). The Final Week or seven years of this age will not be ushered in until after the rapture of the church. God will restore his covenant with Israel sometime at the conclusion of the Ezekiel 38 and 39 battle. This is when "Daniel's 70th Week" will begin. How long after the rapture this all commences is anyone's estimate, but it will probably start within a very short period. The 490 year time clock will start running again and this will begin the final seven year period as referred to by Bible prophecy in the books of Daniel and Revelation.

After the rapture and the battle of Ezekiel 38 and 39, "Daniel's 70th Week" kicks off with three series of judgments, 21 in all. The first set of judgments are known as the Seal Judgments. The second set are called the Trumpet Judgments and the third set are called the Bowl Judgments. The world will be in a state of chaos and confusion. They will wonder what happened to all those Christians. Israel will completely obliterate a huge consortium of nations that will leave the world scratching their heads. Now, the Seal Judgments begin.

When the seals are broken, a man of fierce countenance with incredible knowledge and understanding will come forward on the world scene and capture the hearts of those being led astray. He will convince the world into believing he has all the answers and solutions to the world's problems. He is known in the Bible as "The Abomination That Makes Desolate" and is often referred to as the anti-christ. Very quickly war breaks out on a massive scale as does pestilence and runaway inflation. As the remaining seals are being broken by our Lord Jesus, a great global earthquake hits with such magnitude that every island and every mountain are knocked off their foundations. And that's not all, now the Trumpet Judgments begin.

An unprecedented fire storm of hail mixed with blood will destroy one-third of all trees and green grass. Then a huge mountain, as the Bible describes it, possibly an asteroid, crashes into the sea. This destroys one-third of the world's commercial shipping fleet. It will also destroy all marine life in the affected areas. Then, another large object, called a star in the Bible, also hits the earth contaminating a third of the planet's fresh water which will make it so toxic many people will die from it. Four fallen angels who have been bound in the great river Euphrates are loosed to kill a third of mankind with fire, brimstone and smoke. From the time of the rapture to the end of the Trumpet Judgments over 2 billion people will have lost their lives and we are only at the half way point. The Bowl Judgments are due to commence next.

The last half of "Daniel's 70th Week" is called the Great Tribulation and is the time of the Bowl Judgments. Satan has been cast down to earth from heaven and has taken up residence in the anti-christ. The anti-christ will essentially become king over the entire planet and will demand that everyone receive his mark in their hand or forehead. He will proclaim himself to be God and demand everyone worship him and him alone on pain of death. Those who do so and take his mark, can never be saved. All fresh and sea water on earth will turn to blood. The sun will start to super-nova, becoming so intense, that people will ignite and burst into flames. After the sun's super-nova, it will go out, turning day into night. All the military forces of the world, under the control of the anti-christ, will gather to make war against Jesus Christ at His Second Coming. The earth shakes again. This time it's the worst earthquake in the history of mankind and sinks every island and flattens every mountain on the planet. This is followed by hail stones falling from the sky above on mankind, each weighing 100 pounds.

Seven Years Of Tribulation will be the worst time in human history or ever will be again. The preceding article only touches the surface of what is to come. There is much, much more. A Bible study of prophecy on the end times will reveal the true magnitude of the upheaval approaching planet earth. I'm sure, just by viewing the news daily, you can clearly see we are standing at the door. I'm ready and waiting for the rapture to escape these things, I hope you are too!

Israel Tour Guide Picking The Right Accomodation In Israel

Though Israel has a really broad range of accomodations, the top end is rather over-represented. As a general rule, the magnificent class hostels live up to their ticket, with facilities and service to match their "luxury" pricing. Things can be a little more variable in less posh places, with many of the hostels holding themselves in too high esteem. If you're looking to stay in the "top end" accommodation, it may be worth noting that suites in some hostels offer excellent value.

There are a bunch of issues to bear in mind when booking/checking in to Israel vacation apartments. Firstly , there's a huge adaptation in room charges according to the season. "High" season generally is coincidental with Jewish and Christian religious holidays and can see prices elevate by between 25-50%. Note the weekend (Friday-Sunday) is usually considered "high" season. Many Israelis are now voting with their feet and taking their business to Sinai and to Turkey.

In spite of this obvious rip-off, in some places (significantly Eilat, Tiberias and Jerusalem) it can be hard to find a bed during the "high" season. The majority of the rest of the year is designated "regular" season, with couple of weeks of "low" season when traveller bookings are slack.

Note that if you book as a group or thru a travel agency you could be getting a major discount. With all hotels classifications, keep an eye open for hidden taxes. An Israeli breakfast is included within the price at many hotels.

Remember that by paying in a foreign hard currency you avoid the 17% VAT. Hotel prices are virtually always quotes in US bucks and this is the preferred way of payment (money, TCs, Mastercard). Many hotels have precise traits that reflect the Jewish nature of Israel, for example in-house synagogues, Shabbat elevators (that stop at every floor and don't need buttons to be pushed) and kosher trattorias.

Keep under consideration that all accommodation in Israel (from 5-star hotels down to backpacker hotels) is legally required to offer a free safe for depositing property.

    Israel Tour Guide Oasis Getaways

A trip to the Dead Sea may not sound like the most inviting on your list of potential destinations for your next vacation but on the western shores of the Dead Sea lies the freshwater spring with thousands of years of known history surrounding its existence. The oasis known as En Gedi.

En Gedi is an oasis in Israel just south of the West Bank, off the shore of the Dead Sea. It has been a popular refuge through the ages. The earliest remains that have been discovered near En Gedi are of a temple estimated by archaeologists to have originated somewhere between the years 3150 and 4000 B.C. So there is plenty of history to be explored.

In ancient times En Gedi was one of King David's hideouts during the reign of King Saul. It has been a place of refuge for many over the course of several thousand years and now it is a beautiful refuge from our jobs and busy lifestyles.

The Oasis is home to an impressive botanical garden with many of its plants being unique to the region. The hot summer climate and mild winters combined with minerals found in the air result in strangely quick growth for plants in the region resulting in rich vegetation.

A gracious view of the oasis can be seen from the roof of the Arugot Observatory from which you can see the Moab Mountains, the Dead Sea, the En Gedi spring, the Tel Goren or ancient temple ruins, and the Arugot Stream. The Arugot Stream runs along beside an ancient synagogue from the Talmudic Era (approximately 188-340 CE).

This is a mutually fantastic vacation for the more ritzy traveler and more budget traveler alike. For the more ritzy or laid back travelers the resort hotel will make for a great stay. For the budget traveler looking to spend more time experiencing local culture it is often possible to work on the Kibbutz for a time to take care of your food and lodging and see the sites on the weekends.

Located only a fifteen minute drive from the hotel at En Gedi lies Masada National Park. Masada is acclaimed as Israel's most popular national park and is also a UNESCO World Heritage site. During Roman rule King Herod built the fortress of Masada on this majestic plateau overlooking the Dead Sea. After King Herod's death Jewish rebels overcame the Roman Guard and used Masada as a base against the Romans for two years before Rome was able to launch a successful year long siege against the Jewish rebels at Masada. Thankfully for those wanting to visit Masada you won't have to climb the steep narrow winding Snake Path or walk up the Roman built siege ramp to the western gate. There is a cable car for easier accessibility to this great historical site.

Also a short drive away from En Gedi are the salty beaches of the Dead Sea where you can literally float on your back and read a book. Those who are a bit squeamish of swimming with sea life will do just fine here since as the name implies no aquatic life can survive long in the high salt content of the Dead Sea. It is roughly eight and a half times saltier than the ocean. Located 1385 feet below sea level and fed by the Jordan River. Water evaporates from the Dead Sea due to the hot desert climate but the salt from the evaporated water remains and accumulates year after year leaving salt crystal deposits along the shores of the Dead Sea.

It is an intriguing contrast that so near the Dead Sea lies the spring of En Gedi teaming with rich plant life. For thousands of years this spring has sustained life in the otherwise dry and arid desert. The land it occupies has a very rich history from before the time of King David through the time of the Roman occupation and on to the present day. That leaves many wonders and cultures to see and experience in your stay at En Gedi. The next time you are dreaming about a getaway from the desert of your busy and hectic schedule imagine yourself swimming in the fresh spring waters at En Gedi.

Israel Tour Guide Surfing In Israel

Surfing arrived in Israel in XX century, when American surfer/physician Dorian Paskowitz, serving as a volunteer in the Israeli military, brought his surfing board from Hawaii to Tel Aviv. He invited a great lifeguard Shamai "Topsi" Kancepolsky to help recruit surfers. At that point they were living in youth hotels, because they were near to the beautiful beaches and warm sea.

The two men began giving surf classes at Hilton Beach in Tel Aviv, and shortly had to import more boards from California. By 1975, this resort was widely known as the Malibu of Israel, and Kancepolsky was making surfboards with hereabouts produced materials.

Israel's temperate 170-mile beachbreak-lined coast is interrupted wit a few rocky points and jetties, and faces out to the best bring of any Mediterranean country. The surf barely gets over four foot, and swells are often fleeting and puny; winter sometimes brings the best and most consistent waves. Surfing keenness runs high in Israel, and many surfers carry cell-phones specifically to inform one another of swell conditions. The best breaks near Tel Aviv stayed crowded with wave-riders even as the nations established Palestinian conflict exploded in 2002. Israel is home to about 15 surf shops and 10,000 surfers. They can be meet at hostels and camping sites.

Many hikers are shocked by the strong surf culture in Israel. For example, shaper Eric Arakawa was there for surfing business and brought his family with him. He stayed with relatives on the coast in Mikhmoret. He couldn't believe how many surfers there were walking through the streets, on the beach, on the boardwalk, everywhere.

One of the greatest places for surfing is Beit Yanai beach. Its located between Tel Aviv and Haifa and is the premiere beach for kite surfing on the Mediterranean Sea. This place pulls surfers from all over Israel and even other nations. Naturally, all those folks have to sleep somewhere, and thus you'll find many hotels and hostels (like Hostel Tel Aviv) in the near of the beach. After resting in a quiet and nice apartment, you can spend all day on surfing and having a good time in the ocean.
